Testimonials

  • "The M3 Power AVERY tennis racket is outstanding. It has a sleek and very maneuverable frame with a healthy balance between power, control and feel. The racket has a perfect weight that does not detract from the aforementioned maneuverability; but rather it allows one to easily control the frame to the desired contact point. I am always leery that rackets with a "player's racket" design will have unreasonable sweet spots that can be far too demanding for any level of player; however, this racket proved to be extremely forgiving in that regard. The Avery M3 Power is also an excellent serving racket, as well as a great way for one to stand out on the tennis court with its unique paintjob."

I have been playing tennis for most of my life. In high school and most of my adult life I used a heavier “players” racquet. About a year ago I followed the market and changed to a lighter racquet, not realizing the consequences of the dramatic change (13.2oz down to 10.2 oz). After a couple of months my wrist, elbow and shoulder began to hurt.Doing some research led me to the “AVERY” website. I called Avery racquets and the following day Tom Avery himself returned the call.

After he answered about 50 questions I decided to give the M3 Power a try. I had almost immediate results in both comfort and play. My injuries were totally gone within a month, and my partner and I won 7 straight matches (we only lost one set during that time). With the added confidence I have began playing singles again (first time in about 2 years), and I won my first flex league match this past week.

I am sold on the Avery brand and hope to be associated with Tom and his racquets for a long time to come. I help a local pro with junior and beginner lessons and I try my best to convince the young kids to stay away from the lighter racquets. They don’t realize that most of the pros have there sticks custom made, and they are usually significantly heavier than the “floor model” of the same racquet.

Tom, thank you so much for your help and for all you do for tennis.
