Strokes – Learn to Throw Better to Improve Your Serve

The World Series are in full swing and it’s another exciting one.  Tennis players can learn a lot from baseball players and vice versa.  One commonality is the serve and the pitching motion.  I’ve always said I could teach a pitcher how to serve in about five minutes, once he understood the toss, the rest is a piece of cake, they already have a very good throwing motion.  So if you’re watching the games, check out those pitchers, improve your throwing motion and improve your serve.

Testimonials

  • "I have had this racquet now for 6 months. I had many different racquets but the Avery is the best one that I have ever had. It's very arm and shoulder friendly. It also has good power and control. I am 4+ player and I play about 3-4 times a week."

"As a relatively recent retiree, I have been able to play more tennis and have taken several clinics and private lessons from the tennis pro at my winter residence in Naples, FL.  I love the game but was becoming discouraged, because as I learned to substantially improve my baseline strokes and serve, my elbow was really feeling the effects of this.  I now have an Avery M5 racquet, and the difference has been incredible - both in my elbow soreness and in my improved play.  I no longer worry about my elbow being sore after I play, and now really look forward to playing 2 hour doubles matches 2-3 days per week, pain free."
